I’ve been having so much fun writing and doodling in my JOY Journal… and it’s changed how I feel and approach my days. After a sad few months since the passing of my beloved sister, this is so welcome! Whenever I add images or color to my journal pages, it just feels so incredibly uplifting and healing.
And I want you to experience this. Whether you are seeking personal growth, creative expression or resilience, your JOY Journal is a safe and private place to explore.
Today I made colored marks with some paint markers. There was no rhyme or reason. It just felt playful. Then I added doodles I learned from earlier training with Anne-Marie Jobin at newcreativejournaling.com. So. Much. Fun! And a good reminder of some of the doodles that can be added to my JOY Journal.
Adding simple doodles adds creative spark to your process, allows more layers of clarity and insight, brings playfulness to inner work that sometimes feels heavy, and results in a shift of energy and how you’re showing up. Plus it’s just plain fun.
Sunni Brown explains how doodling improves our comprehension and our creative thinking.
Practice a little doodling today, and let me know what you discover.
