For the past few years, Tassie made phone calls from her home for the Benzie County Dems. But there came a point when she felt called to do more. She wanted to get out of her home and into the community to meet people face-to-face. Now she volunteers at pop-ups for the Benzie Dems and shows up in deep red areas. She’s gained some valuable insights.

Tassie has discovered shared values and that stepping beyond our bubbles is essential to connect, listen, and build something better together — and she says we must address big issues like immigration and health care.
