Kandace Chapple, Volunteer Extraordinaire
Volunteering helps her feel connected to her community
A few days ago I interviewed Kandace Chapple at Interlochen Public Radio for IPR’s volunteer series. Once we knew we were safe from a bear on campus — “BEAR ALERT CLEAR. BEAR ALERT CLEAR,” roared an announcement over the loud speakers on campus — we jumped into her volunteer work for the Foundation Board in Traverse City and their plans for the National Cherry Festival, which is just days away. What I really like about this interview is how deep Kandace went in sharing her hesitation to join the Board and what she’s learned along the way. Take a listen HERE.
Thanks, Kandace, for sharing your spark out and raising the vibration of our world!
